Volkswagen Financial Services Porto is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Specialist to monitor and address security issues across European markets. You will implement endpoint security controls, perform risk assessments and support ISMS initiatives, working with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires 3+ years in IT infrastructure/security, experience with vulnerability remediation and ISO27001, and fluent English.

Qualificações

• At least three years of operational experience in IT infrastructure and IT security.
• Two+ years in IT security with vulnerability remediation and risk management.
• Experience in securing standard technologies and CVE-based remediation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management system audits.
• Experience with ISMS implementation and ISO27001 annex measures.
• Fluent English (minimum B2) in speaking and writing.

What do we do?

VWFS Porto is a VWFS AG IT hub, and the first outside Germany. Here we will establish a long‑term Business & IT company. Our primary goal is to service all European markets in implementing and maintaining contract management systems and other IT projects in other areas. Our focus is on core systems, satellite systems such as document management systems, collection systems, but also extends to integrations, data, and large project organizations. For this we seek a hands‑on Cybersecurity Specialist that will support the team of HQ regarding Information Security discipline.

In this role you will be responsible for:

This position involves monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and addressing security‑related issues, ensuring that our systems are protected from internal and external threats.

Among others, establishing endpoint security processes for topics such as Hardening, Patch and Vulnerability Management, Logging and Monitoring, Malware Protection, Data Loss Prevention and Threat Management are demands of the position. Also, the IT‑Security‑Risk‑Management is important to evaluate each security event within the endpoint security.

We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:

• At least three years of operational professional experience in the areas of IT infrastructure and IT security (ideally risk management and security response).
• At least two years of operational experience in the field of IT security.
• Experience in the field of securing standard technologies and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of IT audits in the evaluation and technical implementation of measures based on ISO 9001 or other quality management systems techniques.
• Identification of security vulnerabilities and elaboration and presentation of alternative solutions based on the CVE standard.
• Experience for the commissioning and operation of an ISMS (information security management system).
• In‑depth knowledge of the measures from the Annex to ISO 27001.
• Advanced knowledge of reporting applications to display IT security and compliance data.
• Certifications ITIL Foundation (ITIL V3 Minimum) and Prince2 (or similar).
• IT security certifications according to ISO27001.
• Implemented at least one IT security project (up to 100 man‑days).
• Complete university studies in computer science, Cybersecurity or any equivalent.
• Speaks and writes English fluently (at least B2 level).
