Dellent in Porto is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives in a hybrid Porto setting. You will plan, execute, and monitor projects, coordinating cross-functional teams across development, QA, and operations.

The role focuses on governance, risk management, and timely delivery, with certification in Agile or traditional methodologies and a track record of migrating large-scale systems to live environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT project management across software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• Certification in Agile or traditional methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and milestones.
• Oversee documentation and test plans; ensure industry standards.
• Lead IT teams; facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment with business objectives and project status updates.
• Coordinate software delivery and ensure quality across lifecycle.
• Identify risks and enforce quality assurance processes.
• Develop and secure migration strategy for live transition.
• Coordinate data migration and system integration.
• Ensure smooth production go-live and post-live support.
• Obtain certification in Scrum Master, PMP or PRINCE2.

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Porto (hybrid model).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, resources, budget and milestones to ensure successful project completion;
• Documentation Management: Oversee the creation of detailed specifications and test plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and meets industry standards;
• Leadership and communication: Lead the different IT teams, facilitate effective communication, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and progress;
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress, and ensuring alignment with business objectives;
• Software Delivery: Coordinate with the development teams to ensure software products meet specified requirements and quality standards, managing the entire software development lifecycle;
• Risk and Quality Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all deliverables undergo rigorous quality assurance processes;
• Develop and secure a comprehensive migration strategy to ensure a smooth transition to the live environment;
• Coordinate with relevant teams to manage data migration and system integration.
• Ensure the first days of production go smoothly, addressing any issues promptly and providing follow-up support to stabilize the new system;
• Certification in specific Agile or waterfall methodologies (Scrum master, PMP, PRINCE2)
