Job summary

Dellent is seeking an Application Support Engineer - Tech Lead for Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work setup. The role emphasizes Linux expertise, scripting (Shell, Python), and strong knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools within a financial services project.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of experience in Linux IT projects.
• Knowledge of Linux environments; Windows Server is a plus.
• Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
• Knowledge of WebSphere and JBoss application servers.
• Knowledge of security: SSL certificates, reverse proxy, and load balancing.
• Experience with schedulers: Control-M and VTOM.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools: Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK.
• Experience with deployment tools: Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer - Tech Lead to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience on Linux IT Project;
• Knowledge of Linux environments, and Windows Server is a plus;
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as: Shell, and Python;
• Knowledge of web servers (Webshephere, and Jboss);
• knowledge of security: SSL certificates, reverse proxy, loadbalancing;
• Knowledge in scheduler tools, like: Control-M, and VTOM;
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, like: Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK;
• Knowledge of deployments tools, such as: GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Openshift, and Docker;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
