Job summary

Dellent, a consulting company, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Private Cloud Engineer to design and oversee Private Cloud operations, in a hybrid arrangement based in Lisbon or Porto.

You will work with VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server and Linux, manage storage and data protection, and drive modernization while maintaining security and reliability. This role offers training opportunities and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing architectures for Private Cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, OS, storage and data protection technologies.
• Ability to lead modernization and lifecycle activities for infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture to support day-to-day Private Cloud operations.
• Lead lifecycle, obsolescence, and modernization activities.
• Ensure stability, performance and availability of the Private Cloud platform.

Description

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Private Cloud Engineer capable of designing an architecture to support day-to-day Private Cloud operations while leading lifecycle, obsolescence, and modernization activities. The engineer will help ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the Private Cloud platform, strengthen operational reliability, and reduce infrastructure-related risks.

Skills

• Virtualization: VMware WebSphere, Hyper-V
• Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server; Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Storage: SAN technologies, datastores, file systems
• Data Protection: Veeam Backup & Replication, backup and recovery operations
• Infrastructure Troubleshooting: performance analysis, capacity management, service availability, server and OS troubleshooting.
