Jobbex Portugal is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist – Software to support one of our clients. You will manage software procurement lifecycle and coordinate with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders.

The role focuses on negotiations, licensing terms, renewals, SLAs, and ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining compliance. Fluency in English is required; Portuguese is a plus. If you thrive in an international environment, this is your opportunity to grow with Jobbex.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years of IT software procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (SaaS, on-prem, cloud).
• Experience collaborating with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the procurement lifecycle for software and IT services from demand to contract.
• Lead vendor selection processes including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, licensing terms, renewals, and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitor licenses, usage, renewals, and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Support audits and maintain procurement documentation.

Responsabilities:

• Manage the procurement lifecycle for software and IT-related services, from demand analysis to contract execution

Collaborate closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment

Lead vendor selection processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations

Negotiate contracts, pricing, licensing terms, renewals, and SLAs to achieve best value

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations

Monitor software licenses, usage, renewals, and optimization opportunities

Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance

Track market trends, benchmark pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities

Support audits and maintain accurate procurement documentation

You'll be a great match if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT procurement, with a strong focus on software procurement

Solid understanding of software licensing models (SaaS, on-prem, cloud, subscriptions)

Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation

Strong analytical and commercial skills

Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international environment

Fluency in English (spoken and written); Portuguese is a plus
