Randstad Portugal is hiring an IT Platform Engineer to design, develop, and operate robust infrastructure across AWS and Nutanix. You will implement automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck, and build REST APIs and workflows for provisioning and management.

We value expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and experience with hybrid cloud, containerization, and Linux administration, complemented by a degree in IT or related field.

Qualificações

We are looking to hire an IT Platform Engineer for a leading client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operate robust infrastructure solutions, primarily in AWS and Nutanix, ensuring availability, scalability, and security;
• Create and maintain automations using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible/Rundeck, including developing REST APIs and automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning and management;
• Use frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to standardize and automate the creation of cloud and hybrid environments;
• Modernize legacy systems for cloud environments, optimizing performance, costs, and operational reliability;
• Collaborate with service delivery, data analytics, integration teams, and architects to ensure a coherent and secure ecosystem;
• Create technical documentation, operational standards, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance across the entire infrastructure landscape.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on scripting and automation;
• Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK);
• Experience with hybrid cloud and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, etc.);
• Relevant experience with Nutanix is a strong plus;
• Proficiency in Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck;
• Knowledge of CI/CD, pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices;
• Experience in Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux Administration are valued;
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
• Autonomous, curious, and innovation-oriented profile, with strong complex problem-solving skills and adaptability to emerging technologies.
