GRiT Solutions in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an IT Platform Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud, and platform modernization to join our global Corporate Design & Development team. You will build, maintain, and evolve a highly automated cloud environment using DevOps practices and platform engineering.

The role focuses on scripting and automation, IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK, and AWS services such as EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, and Lambda.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years as a Platform/DevOps Engineer with automation focus.
• Proven IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda).
• Nutanix experience is a strong plus.

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Platform Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and platform modernization to join the global Corporate Design & Development team. The main focus will be building, maintaining, and evolving a highly automated cloud environment supported by DevOps practices and platform engineering.

Must-Have

• Minimum of 5 years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on scripting and automation
• Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
• Experience with hybrid cloud and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, etc.)
• Relevant experience with Nutanix is a strong plus

Would Be Great If You Have

• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible or Rundeck
• CI/CD and pipelines: knowledge of Git and DevOps practices
• Containerization (desirable): Docker, Kubernetes
• Linux administration (a plus)
