Job summary

Preh Car Connect GmbH is seeking an IT Network Administrator to maintain and secure our network backbone across LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments. You will monitor performance, resolve incidents, and drive improvements to ensure high availability for our automotive operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in network admin, strong Cisco/Aruba/Fortinet knowledge, and solid experience with DHCP/DNS/TCP/IP/SIP/TLS/MFA, Windows Server and Active Directory, plus English fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Aruba and Fortinet environments.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, routing protocols, monitoring tools, and packet analysis.
• Experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SIP, TLS, MFA, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of network security concepts (IPS, IDS, NGFW, UTM).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

About the Role As an IT Network Administrator, you will join our IT team at Preh Group (Trofa), ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, supporting critical operations through reliable connectivity, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will be key in maintaining the systems that support our automotive business.
