The role requires strong leadership, network and security expertise, and experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. The position is based in Porto with visa considerations noted in the posting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, software and security systems.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Porto As an IT Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the overall technology strategy and operations of our company This includes managing a team of IT professionals implementing and maintaining systems and infrastructure and ensuring the security and efficiency of our technology

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology policies procedures and standards for the company
• Oversee the maintenance and support of all hardware software and network systems
• Manage a team of IT professionals including hiring training and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other department heads to identify technology needs and implement solutions
• Ensure data security and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested
• Monitor system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary upgrades or changes
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to make recommendations for improvements or cost savings

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure hardware software and security systems
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall

Salary

$900 per month negotiable based on experience
