BlueDynamics in Faro, Portugal is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee all information technology operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our digital systems. You will lead a team, align IT with business goals, and manage budgets and vendor contracts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT, 5+ years in a managerial IT position, strong skills in networks, databases, cloud, and cybersecurity, plus excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualificações

We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Faro As the IT Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all information technology operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our companys digital systems Your main goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our business

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the companys information technology operations including hardware software networks and security systems
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our digital systems
• Manage a team of IT professionals providing guidance training and support as needed
• Identify areas for improvement within our technology infrastructure and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and advancements in the industry to continuously improve our systems
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide support and solutions
• Monitor system performance to ensure that it meets business requirements and make necessary adjustments as needed
• Manage budget for IT expenses and negotiate contracts with vendors for hardware software and other services

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role preferably in a managerial position
• Strong knowledge of network administration database management cloud computing cybersecurity and other relevant technologies
• Ability to lead a team effectively delegate tasks appropriately and provide feedback when necessary
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-tech individuals

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation
