Job summary

HN Services Portugal is seeking an IT Designer / Business Analyst to evolve financial applications and systems within an international banking environment. The role bridges business analysis and technical solutions, focusing on Finance and Accounting systems.

You will translate business requirements into functional designs, work with Finance, Accounting, Risk, IT and stakeholders, and support IT projects end-to-end from planning to implementation in a fast-paced banking setting.

Qualifications

• Analyse business requirements and translate into functional specifications and IT solutions.
• Design and support the evolution of financial applications and systems.
• Define and refine requirements, user stories and functional designs within an Agile environment.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Risk, IT and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate IT projects, including planning, delivery, testing and implementation.
• Identify risks and issues and contribute to effective solutions.
• Support users throughout testing, training and application evolution.
• Contribute to process optimisation and continuous improvement of financial systems.
• Experience as an IT Designer, Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Strong experience with financial systems, Finance and Accounting processes.
• Good understanding of banking products and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of data management, databases, query languages and BI tools.
• Experience working between business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of Agile, JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
