Job summary

Taleo Consulting is seeking Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to join the Finance Implementation Projects team of a leading international bank in Lisbon.

As a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst, you will support finance implementation projects, working closely with Finance, IT and business teams to ensure correct data flows between business and Finance systems. The role may focus on functional/financial or technical aspects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with project management and/or business or systems analysis.
• Knowledge of banking products or capital markets products.
• Knowledge of financial information systems and financial interfaces.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with testing and implementation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the different phases of finance implementation projects.
• Analyse business requirements and define functional or technical solutions.
• Define and document financial processes, data flows and system requirements.
• Work closely with Finance, IT and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
• Monitor project milestones, issues and deliverables.
• Contribute to testing and validate accounting and reporting solutions.
• Identify and solve issues affecting financial interfaces and data flows.
• Provide support and follow-up after implementation.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of financial systems and interfaces.
