Caixa Mágica Software seeks an IT Ops professional to support production within an Agile/DevOps setting, ensuring stability of environments, monitoring, and service supervision. You will help define technical solutions and integrate production requirements into backlogs.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, promoting best practices and implementing monitoring with Grafana, Dynatrace, and container tech. Travel may be required; English is beneficial.

The role of IT Ops falls within the context of an Agile and DevOps approach. She/he acts as the guarantor of Production throughout the project cycle. He/she is a key player in taking production requirements into account contribution to the definition of the technical solution, the stability of the technical environments (Production/non-Production), the monitoring and supervision of the technical solutions. He/she participates in project team meetings and is involved in activities and collective decisions (assessment of complexity, risks, etc.) throughout the project. He/she identifies good application production practices in collaboration with the Application Production Support and shares them widely.

What will you do?

• Participating in the definition of the technical solution
• Integrating the production and infrastructure requirements in the scoping and in the product backlog
• Ensuring the upskilling of the Product/Project team on application production best practices
• Ensuring the provision of Production and infrastructure resources by facilitating the deployment of solutions
• Liaising with Production Support Applications to implement monitoring and facilitate service supervision
• Contributing to maintaining the services in operational condition
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of Production (Automation, performance improvement, etc.)

• Assembling production and infrastructure products and services for the benefit of applications, by advising on the adoption of technologies in line with application needs.
• Anticipating issues of compliance with the rules and standards of architecture, security, delivery times and scaling of the solutions proposed.
• Integrating production and infrastructure requirements.
• Ensuring that the infrastructure and operating requirements are added to the Product Backlog, as well as any technical user story deemed necessary (industrialization, obsolescence management, etc.).
• Supporting development teams to secure and speed up project delivery.
• Implementing technical user stories, independently or by coordinating the right players.
• Ensuring the upskilling of the team on application production best practices.
• Raising awareness and spread best application production practices within the project team.
• Training and supporting team members in taking ownership of the tools provided in the Agile & DevOps framework.
• Ensuring the provision of Production and infrastructure resources by facilitating the deployment of solutions.
• Providing the team with the right expertise / production services.
• Service monitoring.
• Technical environments (Production and non-Production).
• Checking the usability of the technical environments (backup/restore, data access, performance, etc.).
• Conducting or checking team security reviews.
• Checking the traceability of access to machines (OS, storage space, routers, etc.) and correcting if necessary.
• Identifying operational blocking points (flows, security, network, etc.) then alert and propose action plans.
• Maintenance in operational condition.
• Contributing to the definition of service levels and production indicators.
• Implementing the monitoring and supervision of the Solution deployed in production.
• Ensuring that up-to-date and validated installation and operating documentation is available.
• Ensuring that a backup switchover plan (ICP) exists and is tested.
• Providing support in case of blockage or incident on release versions.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of production in collaboration with Applications Production Support.
• Escalating proposals to improve application production services as part of a continuous improvement process.
• Identifying best practices and sharing them within your entity and within the group.

• Participate in the workshop regarding these themes.
• Mastering of the new technological stacks (Elastic Search, Grafana, Promotheus, Dynatrace …) for the service monitoring, with an understanding of the DevOps chain (Gitlab, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Mattermost, Ansible, …) and container technology (Docker / Kubernetes).
