Job summary

act digital in Lisbon is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our international Banking & Financial Services team, with a strong focus on Custody activities. You will analyse requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support testing and releases.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in financial services, BaNCS/NCS experience, JIRA usage, SQL knowledge, and a Master’s degree; English must be advanced.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the Financial Industry.
• Previous experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• NCS and/or BaNCS experience.
• Experience with Waterfall methodology.
• Experience using JIRA.
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax, Law or a related field.
• English – Advanced/Expert level (mandatory).

• Analyse and clarify business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Prepare and validate functional specifications.
• Provide functional expertise throughout project and release lifecycles.
• Support functional testing and UAT activities.
• Manage change requests and system enhancements.
• Identify product gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in market and transversal projects.
• Follow project planning, workflows and deadlines.
• Provide functional and technical support for complex requests when required.
