Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. is seeking an IT AM FICO Junior Specialist (f/m/d) to support SAP FI/CO architecture, configuration, and end-to-end implementations. You will collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of GL, AP, AR, and CO processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on SAP FI/CO and eInvoicing skills, with opportunities to drive upgrades to S/4HANA and ensure compliance with internal controls and audits. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Finance or accounting.
• 3+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• 1+ years of Seeburger P2P eInvoicing experience.
• Hands-on SAP IDOC, SAFT and eInvoicing experience preferred.
• SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support architecture design of SAP FI/CO solutions, aligning with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Translate business processes into system solutions, including configuration, integration, and development oversight.
• Discuss with Finance Integration Lead and Project Managers business requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end SAP FI/CO implementation including GL, AP, AR, AA, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial process integration.
• Provide technical guidance to SAP FI/CO consultants and developers.
• Manage SAP upgrades, migrations (e.g., to S/4HANA), and system enhancements.
• Ensure regulatory, audit, and internal controls compliance within financial systems.
• Document solution architectures, data flows and technical specifications.
• Support testing, training, and user adoption.
• This position is mainly responsible for developing, improving and maintaining applications used to run finance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support architecture design of SAP FI/CO solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Translate business processes into system solutions, including configuration, integration, and development oversight.
• Discuss with Finance Integration Lead and Project Managers business requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of SAP FI (Finance) and CO (Controlling) modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to SAP FI/CO consultants and developers.
• Conduct solution reviews, impact assessments, and change management in SAP finance landscape.
• Manage SAP upgrades, migrations (e.g., to S/4HANA), and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal controls within financial systems.
• Document solution architectures, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Support and drive testing, training, and user adoption.
• This position is mainly responsible for developing, improving and maintaining applications; used in the organization to run finance processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• 3+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on FI/CO modules.
• 1+ years of Seeburger P2P eInvoicing experience
• Hands-on experience with SAP IDOC, SAFT and e Invoicing is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles (International Standard and/or any other country specific?).
• Experience with integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules.
• Familiarity with tools like SAP BTP, and SAP DRC eInvoicing.
• Familiarity with SAFT.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork skills.
• SAP Certification in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance (preferred).
