We are looking for an IT Administrator - File Transfer | Axway!
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze technical requirements for new file transfer implementations and data exchange workflows.
- Design, configure, and maintain secure file transfer solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in change management activities related to connectivity, infrastructure, and file transfer services.
- Coordinate and execute testing activities to ensure reliable and error-free data exchanges before production deployment.
- Lead and support connectivity projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality implementation.
- Maintain accurate configurations for sensitive data exchanges, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
- Identify opportunities to improve the security, efficiency, and reliability of file transfer processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for file transfer mappings, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Prioritize multiple connectivity initiatives while independently managing assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external administrators, providing regular project and operational updates.
- Provide Level 3 Application Support for file transfer platforms, investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing workarounds to minimize business impact.
- Administer and maintain Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport environments, ensuring service availability and operational stability.
- Monitor scheduled, real-time, and batch file transfers, ensuring operational continuity and documenting known issues for support teams.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, certificate, and protocol-related issues with external partners and global administrators.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Axway CFT and/or Axway SecureTransport.
- Experience providing Level 3 Production/Application Support in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of secure file transfer technologies and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and other secure file transfer protocols.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience administering applications and services on Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
- Ability to deploy, start, stop, troubleshoot, and debug application services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex connectivity and data exchange issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive business data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with change management, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving integration and file transfer standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
