act digital is seeking a File Transfer & Data Exchange Engineer to join an international team responsible for secure file transfers and data exchange platforms.

The role focuses on Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure, reliable data exchanges across global environments. You will work with Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport on Linux/Windows servers, in a role that requires strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Axway CFT and/or Axway SecureTransport.
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of file transfer and data exchange solutions.
• Gather requirements and coordinate testing for deployments.
• Provide Level 3 support for MFT environments.

We are looking for a File Transfer & Data Exchange Engineer to join an international team responsible for managing secure file transfers and data exchange platforms. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for ensuring secure and reliable data exchanges across global environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Gather and analyze technical requirements for new file transfer and data exchange solutions.
• Participate in change management processes related to connectivity and infrastructure updates.
• Coordinate and execute testing activities to ensure reliable and error-free deployments.
• Support the implementation and rollout of new connectivity initiatives.
• Configure and maintain secure data exchange environments with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, security, and operational efficiency.
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation for file transfer configurations and mappings.
• Manage assigned projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external technical contacts to provide project updates and resolve connectivity requirements.

Application Support

• Provide Level 3 support for Managed File Transfer environments, investigating incidents and implementing effective solutions.
• Administer and maintain Axway CFT and Axway SecureTransport platforms to ensure high availability and operational stability.
• Monitor scheduled, real-time, and batch data transfers, ensuring incidents are documented and knowledge is shared with support teams.
• Work directly with international technical teams to troubleshoot connectivity, certificate, and protocol-related issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Axway CFT and/or Axway SecureTransport.
• Experience administering services on Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Strong understanding of SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS protocols.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
