Job summary

Siemens AG Global Business Services in Portugal seeks a Junior Professional for a temporary role to oversee IT service delivery, monitor KPIs, and support application managers with roles and access concepts. The position emphasizes learning, collaboration, and cross-functional work in a diverse team.

You will conduct user inventories, perform risk analyses, maintain risk registers, and assist in protection and service setup activities within GBS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English oral and written; strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps and project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery, accountability, and reporting of SLAs, KPIs, and costs for each IT service.
• Support other Application managers in roles and Authorization concepts (SoD) and user inventories.
• Perform Service Impact Analysis (SIA) and communicate performance issues to service owners.
• Maintain IT Risk Register, define risk response strategies, and track mitigations.
• Participate in Protection Risks Analysis (PRA) and service setups within GBS.

What role will you play?

• Oversee service delivery, take accountability, and report performance (Service Levels. KPIs and Costs) of each individual IT service.
• Support other Application managers in:
• Roles and Authorization Concept (technical roles) considering Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements.
• Perform user inventory (technical roles)
• Perform Service Impact Analysis (SIA) on a regular base.
• Escalate performance related issues and customer complaints to service owners and proactively discuss with the associate providers our customer demands.
• Maintain IT Risk Register containing IT Risks related to the Application. Define Risk Response Strategy. Define, implement, and track Risk Mitigations
• Keep Protection Concept up to date, for all ISEC risk proper risk acceptances are obtained and documented
• Participate in Protection Risks Analysis (PRA) preparation.
• Participate in service setups within GBS DS

What do you need to have

• Under a Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
• Good communication and networking skills in an intercultural environment and across all management levels.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Solid resource planning and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles, DevOps and Project Management methodologies
