GMV is seeking motivated and curious interns to join our software engineering team in Lisbon. You will work on real-world applications used across EUROCONTROL member states, contributing to backend and frontend features.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers on projects like DEMETER and GRIT, using Spring Boot and Angular within a microservices architecture, gaining hands-on experience in agile teams.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

About the Projects

DEMETER

A web application built on a micro‑services architecture using Spring Boot (backend) and Angular (frontend). DEMETER supports ground engineering teams in defining optimal take‑off, landing, and navigation routes, enabling:

• Performance‑based navigation
• Optimization of navigation infrastructure
• Improved decision‑making for flight operations

GRIT

A specialized web application, also based on Spring Boot and Angular, designed to support the planning, coordination, and execution of GNSS interference testing. GRIT helps:

• Harmonize procedures across EUROCONTROL Member States
• Standardize and streamline interference testing
• Minimize the impact of GNSS interference on aviation safety

What You Will Do

• Contribute to backend development using Object‑Oriented Programming (Java/.NET)
• Build and enhance frontend features with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
