GMV Spain is seeking an FPGA Engineer to design, develop and validate GNSS-related FPGA-based digital signal processing and hardware acceleration. You will work on RTL modules, FPGA features for simulators and receivers, and ensure timing-closure and verification.

The role requires a background in telecommunications, electronics or computer engineering with RTL expertise and Git experience. The position offers a hybrid working model, relocation support, and a career development path, with

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement RTL modules and digital signal-processing algorithms for GNSS signal generation and/or processing on FPGA devices.
• Develop, integrate and validate FPGA-based features for experimentation platforms, simulators and receiver systems.
• Perform FPGA synthesis, implementation, resource utilization analysis and timing-closure activities.
• Develop verification environments, testbenches and simulation models, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Contribute to technical documentation writing, supporting the features design, implementation and testing.
• Perform root cause analysis of functional, performance and integration issues.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of the team, you willparticipate in activities for the design, development and/or validation of diverse GNSS
technologies and applications ranging from signal generation to receiver development, with a focus on FPGA-based digital signal processing and hardware acceleration.

Among your main tasks, will be:

• Design andimplement RTL modules and digital signal-processing algorithms for GNSS signalgeneration and/or processing on FPGA devices.
• Develop,integrate and validate FPGA-based features for experimentation platforms,simulators and receiver systems.
• PerformFPGA synthesis, implementation, resource utilization analysis andtiming-closure activities.
• Developverification environments, testbenches and simulation models, and contribute tohardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Contributeto technical documentation writing, supporting the features design,implementation and testing.
• Performroot cause analysis of functional, performance and integration issues.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for Telecommunications, Electronics or Computer Engineering graduates, or candidates with a similar background, with knowledge of and interest in digital design, FPGA-based RTL development, and the implementation of hardware solutions for high-performance systems.

The following skills are required:

• Digital design and RTL development methodologies.
• FPGA development workflows, including simulation, synthesis and implementation.
• Version control tools such as Git.

In addition, will be considered a plus: knowledge of GNSS technologies, digital signal processing, FPGA verification methodologies and tools, hardware integration and high-speed interfaces, embedded systems and real-time processing, C/C++ or Python programming, and Linux/UNIX.
