GMV is seeking a GNSS Engineer to join its GNSS Signal Technologies division in Lisbon. You will help design, develop and validate GNSS technologies across signal processing, positioning and navigation domains.

The role involves building software tools, analyzing signals with real and simulated data, and contributing to documentation. A related Engineering degree and Python skills are required, with optional GNSS experience beneficial.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of GNSS signals, observables and basic algorithms.
• Experience with DSP and estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in Python for research, prototyping and analysis.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will participate in activities for the design, development and/or validation of diverse GNSS technologies and applications ranging from signal generation and signal processing to receiver development, positioning and navigation solutions.

• Design,implement and validate techniques and algorithms for GNSS signal generation,acquisition, tracking, demodulation, positioning and/or navigation.
• Developand integrate GNSS software tools for experimentation, receiver prototyping,simulators and test platforms.
• AnalyseGNSS signals and receiver performance using real and simulated data.
• Define andexecute functional, performance verification tests.
• Contributeto technical documentation writing, supporting the features design,implementation and testing.
• Performroot cause analysis of functional, performance and integration issues.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for Telecommunications, Computer, Physics or related Engineering graduates, with knowledge of and interest in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), digital signal processing, and the development of positioning algorithms and applications.

• Fundamentals of GNSS systems, signals and observables.
• Digital signal processing and estimation techniques.
• Python programming.

In addition,will be considered a plus: knowledge of and experience with GNSS receivers, simulators or analysis tools, positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) algorithms, satellite-based augmentation systems and precise positioning techniques, RF and communications fundamentals, signal analysis and data-processing tools, software engineering methodologies, and version control tools such as Git.
