Job summary

Syensqo in Lisbon, Portugal seeks an Internal Audit Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of audit engagements in line with IIA Global Standards. The role partners with management across departments to identify risks and improve audit quality in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You will mentor teams, apply data analytics, and report findings to senior management. Hybrid work, up to 20% travel, and a base salary range of 48,400–60,000 EUR per year.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of proven experience in internal or external auditing.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and governance.
• Fluency in English and effective communication with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit planning, scope, timelines, and resource allocation with cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee audit execution per IIA standards and internal methodologies.
• Review workpapers and reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Mentor and develop internal audit staff; drive continuous improvement.
