Job summary
Bosch Home Comfort Portugal is offering an extracurricular internship for an R&D Engineer focused on domestic hot water tanks. The position is on-site in Aveiro for 12 months, with a full-time schedule and a limited contract type.
You will support development, validation, and testing, analyze standards, create technical reports, and collaborate across R&D, Quality, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to drive innovative heating solutions.
Qualifications
- Academic Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge in turbomachinery and aerodynamics; interest in thermal systems, refrigeration or sustainable technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and industrialization of new domestic hot water tanks.
- Analyze current and upcoming legislation, standards and technical requirements.
- Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods.
- Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations.
- Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.
