Bosch Home Comfort Portugal in Aveiro is seeking an enthusiastic R&D Engineer intern to support the development and industrialization of heat pump water heater products. You will analyze legislation and standards, define validation strategies, execute lab testing, and prepare technical reports.

Requirements include an engineering degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, knowledge of turbomachinery and aerodynamics, proficiency in Portuguese and English, and the ability to manage multiple

Your tasks

• Support the development and industrialization of new heat pump water heater products;
• Analyze current and upcoming legislation, standards and technical requirements applicable to products;
• Define validation strategies, test plans and engineering test methods;
• Execute laboratory testing, measurements and performance evaluations;
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders;
• Participate in troubleshooting, brainstorming and root cause analysis activities;
• Support engineering change management processes during product development;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management and Manufacturing.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously;
• Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.
