Job summary

agap2 indústria in Porto is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to support development and execution of strategic industrial investment projects within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, proven on-site project supervision experience, strong AutoCAD knowledge, and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets with autonomy. Willingness to travel is expected, with travel arrangements to be agreed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in industrial project management and on-site supervision within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft Planner Pro or equivalent project management tools.
• Previous experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of project planning, budget management and cost control.
• Experience with 3D modelling tools and industrial wastewater treatment projects will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills, with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
• Willingness to travel and geographical mobility, with travel and accommodation arrangements to be agreed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor industrial engineering projects, including factory expansions, process installations, industrial utilities and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Liaise with suppliers, monitoring equipment deliveries, procurement activities and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate on-site activities, ensuring effective collaboration between internal teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Supervise equipment installation, testing, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Monitor project progress against established schedules and milestones, identifying potential risks, delays and corrective actions.
• Oversee project budgets and CAPEX expenditure, including cost commitments, additional works, cost forecasts and budget variance analysis.
• Prepare regular progress reports for Project Management and key stakeholders, covering project status, schedules, costs, risks and key decisions.
• Develop, review and update industrial layouts and technical documentation.
