Job summary

Emagine is seeking an Incident & Change Management DevOps Engineer in Porto to join our hybrid team. You will manage production incidents, perform RCA, and coordinate cross-team resolution while deploying across Pre-Production and Production environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, Oracle, automation, CI/CD and incident & change management. You will contribute to CI/CD improvements and runbooks, ensuring stability of critical applications and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in production support and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions.
• Experience coordinating incident resolution across multiple teams.
• Hands-on in CI/CD pipelines, automation and IaC.
• Proficient with Linux and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage production incidents and service disruptions with timely diagnosis and resolution.
• Perform RCA and contribute to preventive actions.
• Coordinate incident resolution across development, infrastructure, operations and business teams.
• Execute deployments in Pre-Production and Production environments.
• Manage production changes, including rollback readiness and post-deployment validation.
• Monitor applications, batch jobs, integrations and critical processes.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements, release automation, and IaC.
• Support Oracle database environments with SQL troubleshooting and operations.
• Create and maintain runbooks and deployment guides.

Are you an experienced DevOps / Production Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex production issues, improving operational processes, and ensuring the reliability of business-critical applications?

We’re looking for an Incident & Change Management DevOps Engineer to join an international technology environment, working in a hybrid model .

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong production support and troubleshooting skills with hands‑on experience in Linux, Oracle, automation, CI/CD, and incident & change management .

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of critical applications and services across Production and Pre-Production environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage and troubleshoot production incidents and service disruptions , ensuring timely diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to long‑term corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate incident resolution across development, infrastructure, operations, and business teams .
• Execute and validate application deployments across Pre-Production and Production environments .
• Manage production changes, ensuring deployment quality, rollback readiness, and post‑deployment validation .
• Monitor applications, batch jobs, scheduled workloads, integrations, and business‑critical processes .
• Identify repetitive operational activities and develop automation solutions and scripts to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements, release automation, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management .
