Job summary

Inetum is seeking a Windows System Administrator (Mid-Level) to join its infrastructure team in Portugal. The role covers installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server environments to ensure performance, security, and reliability across the enterprise.

You will develop basic automation using PowerShell or Ansible, manage Active Directory, DNS, and GPO, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of Windows administration experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Windows system administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and GPO.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (DHCP, load balancing).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and update Windows Server operating systems and tools.
• Monitor performance and ensure availability and reliability across environments.
• Apply security patches, manage user access, and support vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-level issues; escalate as needed.
• Develop basic automation scripts using PowerShell or Ansible.
• Support end-users and collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents.
• Maintain system documentation and contribute to process improvements.
