Job summary

Vestas in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Project Planning specialist to join the T&O Project Planning team. You will enable integrated planning across business units, connect value-chain areas, and drive adoption of common planning practices using cplace and SAP PPM.

In this hybrid role, you collaborate with global teams, coach users, and translate needs into clear requirements, helping maintain a single source of truth for trusted planning decisions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid professional experience in project, program, portfolio, or integrated planning within a complex, cross‑functional organization is valuable.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and planning practices, with the ability to connect Agile ways of working with broader project and portfolio planning.
• Experience with digital planning and portfolio management tools, with specific knowledge of SAP PPM, cplace, or JIRA considered valuable.
• Effective customer and business‑partnering mindset, with the ability to translate needs into practical improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and enable users with coaching and training.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for various audiences and levels

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted planning partner for Business Units, building relationships and providing direct support to improve planning quality.
• Coordinate integrated planning across T&O, connecting Business Units, product and value‑chain areas, PMOs and other stakeholders.
• Advance cplace adoption and user enablement, coaching and supporting users to maximize value from the platform.
• Shape future Place development by translating real user needs into clear requirements and prioritizing improvements.
• Contribute to evolution of Flow Agile methodologies and ensure integration with T&O planning environment.
• Ensure planning quality, connectivity and reliability, maintaining a single source of truth for informed decisions.
• Develop guidance, training and materials to promote adoption of common planning approaches
