Job summary

Hexa Consulting seeks an IT Systems Administrator to join a client team in a hybrid role based in Lisbon. The role focuses on Windows environments with strong Linux and networking foundations, plus authentication and automation tasks.

You will maintain enterprise systems, support RDS/AD and implement PowerShell-driven automation, while ensuring security and availability across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Systems Administration for enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux, with Windows focus.
• Solid understanding of IT networking and infrastructure.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, administration and technical support experience for enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for admin tasks and automation.
• Experience managing authentication mechanisms and GPOs.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and provide technical support for enterprise IT systems and platforms.
• Support Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring operational stability and availability.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving infrastructure, networking, authentication and enterprise apps.
• Manage federated authentication using ADFS and SSO.
• Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across Windows environments.
• Administer Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and related Farm/Jump servers.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for system administration and automation.
• Support Atlassian platforms (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket) across on‑prem and cloud.
• Provide technical support for enterprise communications and telephony (Cisco Jabber, MET, Teams).
• Administer and troubleshoot F5 load balancers and SCCM deployments.
