Job summary

Hexa Consulting is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join an infrastructure team supporting the financial services sector. You will ensure reliability, security and optimization of Linux environments, including virtualization, storage, and automation, in a hybrid work setting.

The role emphasizes operational resilience, compliance and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement technical requirements and maintain high system availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Linux systems administration.
• Ability to manage infrastructure operations independently and resolve technical challenges.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective organization, prioritization and time management skills.
• Clear communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and apply new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain and upgrade Linux servers across standalone and clustered environments.
• Monitor and optimize system availability, performance, stability and security.
• Implement and troubleshoot infrastructure automation processes for consistent administration.
• Manage and resolve issues involving enterprise storage systems, SAN switches and VMware environments.
• Ensure changes including provisioning, modifications and decommissioning are managed through automation processes.
• Apply security policies and compliance across Linux environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking and security teams to implement requirements and connectivity.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
