Hexa Consulting in Porto is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support critical financial market infrastructure with a hybrid work model (3 days on-site per week). You will manage Linux servers, storage, VMware, and automation to ensure stability.

The role requires 5+ years in Linux admin, strong English (B2), and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset. You will collaborate with IT teams to align security, connectivity and compliance with business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
• English proficiency at least B2, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in complex environments.
• Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work initially on-site in Porto, then hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Linux servers in standalone and clustered environments.
• Manage infrastructure changes through automation with traceability.
• Support storage servers, SAN switches and VMware environments, including maintenance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze requirements, connectivity, security and compliance.
• Ensure availability, performance and security of Linux platforms supporting critical services.
