Sysmatch is seeking an experienced DBA to lead a 6–12 month assessment and remediation program across MS SQL Server and Oracle environments, both on-premises and in Azure. The role involves reviewing the current estate, identifying risks, and delivering governance and remediation plans.

The successful candidate will have mid-level DBA experience, strong Azure/Windows Server knowledge, and enjoy a hybrid work arrangement in Lisbon. Salary is competitive with benefits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as Mid-level DBA
• MS SQL Server and Oracle in on-prem and Azure environments
• Technical documentation and runbook creation, mentoring and knowledge transfer

Responsabilidades

• Lead a 6–12 month assessment and remediation program for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Identify operational and technical risks and implement remediation to improve reliability, maintainability and performance.
• Review current estate and establish database administration practices and governance.
