Inetum Portugal is seeking a COBOL Developer to join a bank-grade mainframe team responsible for maintaining and enhancing custody services applications. You will contribute to the stability and evolution of core business systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of mainframe experience, COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS), DB2, SQL, and JCL. English at least B2; French is a plus. Hybrid (50% onsite, 50% remote) in Lisbon with an international team.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of software development experience, preferably in Mainframe environments.
• Strong hands‑on COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS) and ability to work autonomously.
• Solid knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with JCL; MQSeries is a plus.
• Experience with maintenance, enhancements, and support activities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing Mainframe applications.
• Perform technical analysis and propose solutions for business and technical requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Estimate effort and complexity for development and maintenance activities.
• Execute unit testing and ensure quality of delivered solutions.
• Support incident resolution and application maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with an international team focused on stability and continuous improvement of critical services.
