Inetum is seeking a COBOL Developer to join a team maintaining and enhancing critical Custody Services applications in an international banking environment. You will work on Mainframe applications using COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS) and leverage DB2/SQL while collaborating with an international team to ensure stability and continued service improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in mainframe software development, strong autonomy, and solid knowledge of JCL.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in Mainframe environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL (IBM Developer for z/OS) and the ability to work autonomously.
• Solid knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with JCL.
• Knowledge of MQSeries is considered a plus.
• Experience with application maintenance, enhancements, and support activities.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and perform technical analysis.
• Experience with unit testing and validation of developments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing Mainframe applications.
• Perform technical analysis and propose appropriate solutions for business and technical requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Estimate effort and complexity for development and maintenance activities.
• Execute unit testing and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
• Support incident resolution and application maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with an international team focused on the stability and continuous improvement of critical services.
