Schmitz Cargobull is seeking a Full Service Backoffice Specialist in Santarém, Portugal. The hybrid position offers international exposure and opportunities for career growth within a leading trailer manufacturer.

You will review service repair cases, manage fleet contracts, and coordinate between customers, suppliers and internal teams. Fluency in English is mandatory, with German as a strong advantage. Training and development are provided in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in mechanics or a related technical field.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• German language skills are a strong advantage.
• Exposure to the trailer, trucking, automotive, or spare parts industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Full Service workshop repair cases across product categories (trailers, tyres, cooling units).
• Manage Full Service fleet contracts, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Process and validate cost re-invoicing according to contract conditions.
• Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records within internal systems.
• Support customers, suppliers and colleagues with operational and contractual queries.
• Assist with contract activations, renewals and extensions.
• Prepare and monitor reports on completed cases and service activities.
