JobCloud is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications across teams and products in Porto, Portugal. You will work with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, and intelligent agents to move ideas to production while ensuring security and scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes collaboration with platform and security teams, tooling for CI/CD, and mentoring colleagues to turn business needs into reliable software solutions.

Qualificações

• Strong Python and backend software-engineering skills.
• Experience delivering AI-powered or data-intensive apps.
• Experience integrating enterprise data sources.
• Experience with tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation of nondeterministic systems.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, privacy and secure data handling.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate production AI applications connecting language models with enterprise data and APIs.
• Develop conversational AI experiences with tool calling, orchestration, and agentic behavior.
• Prepare data from APIs, databases, and document repositories for AI use.
• Establish automated evaluation, testing, monitoring, and safe fallback mechanisms.
• Collaborate on deployment, CI/CD, observability, access control, and privacy defenses.
• Own technical designs and mentor colleagues to translate business needs into maintainable solutions.
