Sodalis Group in Iberia seeks an HR Specialist – Iberia to support employee lifecycle, HR processes and recruitment across Portugal and Spain.

The role combines day-to-day HR operations with strategic people initiatives, working closely with Group HR and local stakeholders in a multicultural FMCG environment.

Qualificações

  • University degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, Law or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Solid experience in HR Operations, including employee administration, payroll and benefits.
  • Knowledge of Portuguese labor law; Spanish labor law a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish; Portuguese required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High level of autonomy and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate HR Operations processes across Portugal and Spain.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Coordinate and support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, mobility and offboarding.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits and employee administration with providers and stakeholders.
  • Support Performance Management, Talent, Learning & Development and other people initiatives.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of HR data and systems; contribute to HR digitalization.
  • Prepare HR reports, KPIs and people analytics for local and Group reporting.
  • Support the implementation of Group HR policies at Iberian level.
  • Work with Group HR in Italy on international projects.
  • Contribute to employee engagement, internal communication, culture and ESG initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and improve HR processes across Portugal and Spain.
  • Support other HR projects as needed.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an HR Specialist – Iberia to join our team and support our people and business across Portugal and Spain.

About the role

This is a hands-on and transversal HR role, with responsibility for supporting the employee lifecycle and HR processes across Iberia.

The HR Specialist will work closely with employees, managers and local stakeholders in both countries, while also collaborating with Group HR and other Group functions in Italy and internationally.

The role combines day-to-day HR Operations with recruitment, employee support, HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, offering significant exposure to both the business and the wider Group.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support HR Operations processes across Portugal and Spain, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with local requirements.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Coordinate and support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, internal mobility and offboarding.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, partnering with hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits and employee administration, working closely with external providers and internal stakeholders.Support Performance Management, Talent, Learning & Development and other People initiatives across Iberia.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of HR data and systems, contributing to HR digitalization and process optimization.
  • Prepare HR reports, KPIs and people analytics for local and Group reporting.
  • Support the implementation of Group HR policies, processes and initiatives at Iberian level.
  • Work closely with Group HR in Italy, participating in international projects and ensuring alignment with Group guidelines and priorities.
  • Contribute to employee engagement, internal communication, culture and ESG-related initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify and improve HR processes across Portugal and Spain.
  • Support other HR projects and initiatives according to business needs.
What we are looking for
  • University degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, Law or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in an international or multinational environment.
  • Solid experience in HR Operations, including employee administration, payroll and benefits.
  • Good knowledge of employment-related processes and Portuguese labor legislation; knowledge of Spanish labor legislation is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and digital skills.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory, both written and spoken. Portuguese is also required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with employees, managers and international stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High level of autonomy, ownership and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural, international and dynamic FMCG environment.
