INFINOX LIMITED is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end HR activities in Portugal within a fast-paced, multinational environment. You should be fluent in Portuguese and English, widely familiar with Portuguese labour law, and able to operate with minimal supervision across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, HRIS data integrity, performance processes, and employee engagement.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
  • 4–5 years HR generalist experience in Portugal.
  • Solid knowledge of Portuguese Labour Law; UK Labour Law knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience drafting offer letters and employment agreements; sales HR docs.
  • Payroll knowledge; exposure to sales commissions.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven HR Specialist with a minimum of 4-5 years of HR experience in Portugal and a proven track record across all HR functions. The ideal candidate comes from a global MNC background, is well-versed in Portugal labour law, with knowledge of UK labour law being advantageous, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Would also be able to manage other locations as and when required.

This is a role for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, we are looking for a professional who requires little to no hand-holding and can take full ownership of their responsibilities from day one.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting and posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, and managing candidate follow-up and communication.
Offer Letters & Sales Agreements
  • Act as the go-to expert for drafting and preparing offer letters and employment agreements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and full compliance with Portuguese labour law.
  • Draft, review, and manage sales agreements and related commercial HR documentation, ensuring commission structures, targets, and terms are clearly and accurately reflected.
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences for all employees, in accordance with Portuguese labour law, ensuring all documentation, system access, and transition procedures are completed accurately and on time.
HR Records & HRIS Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity across all HR documentation, personnel files, and internal systems at all times.
  • Support performance review cycles within the HRIS, including setting up review templates, tracking completion, and ensuring timely submission by managers and employees.
Payroll & Sales Commission Support
  • Support payroll processing and coordination with external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; working knowledge of Portuguese payroll practices is advantageous.
  • Support the administration and tracking of all employees, including the Sales team, liaising with Finance and Sales leadership to ensure proper HR records and structure are maintained for the global team; knowledge of sales commission structures is advantageous.
Employee Engagement & Internal Events
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives, team activities, and internal events that foster a positive workplace culture, boost morale, and strengthen team cohesion.
Employee Relations & HR Queries
  • Serve as a reliable first point of contact for employee queries, providing timely, accurate, and professional responses on HR policies, procedures, and general employment matters.
Compliance & Labour Law
  • Ensure all HR practices and processes are fully compliant with applicable Portuguese Labour Law and Company policies, proactively identifying and addressing any areas of non-compliance.
  • Monitor and advise on relevant developments in UK employment law where they impact the Company's UK-facing operations or employees.
HR Audits & Reporting
  • Support HR audits, compliance reporting, and the preparation of HR documentation as required, ensuring records are audit-ready at all times.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making and provide meaningful insights to senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders — including government authorities, recruitment agencies, and insurance providers — on all HR-related matters.
Performance Management & Benefits Administration
  • Provide support in the administration of performance management processes, employee benefits, and HR communications, ensuring employees are well-informed and supported throughout.
General Administration
  • Manage general office administration and ad-hoc duties as required, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the HR function and office environment.
  • Support and manage HR operations across other company locations globally, as and when required, ensuring seamless HR delivery across all entities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR specialist role in Portugal.
  • Solid understanding of Portuguese Labour Law; working knowledge of UK Labour Law is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in drafting offer letters and employment agreements, and in preparing sales agreements, with strong attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll knowledge and exposure to sales commission is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (such as BambooHR, or similar).
  • Prior exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement processes.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multinational, or financial services environment is an advantage.
  • Cross-border collaboration and multicultural experience.
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to provide HR support across multiple company locations globally, as and when required.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise, and deliver.
