HR Analytics, Compensation & Regulatory Oversight Specialist (Portugal)
Role Purpose:
The HR Analytics, Compensation & Regulatory Oversight Specialist is responsible for delivering data-driven HR insights, managing compensation and benefits analyses, supporting regulatory remuneration requirements, and ensuring robust HR reporting and governance across the organization. The role acts as a key partner to HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance and senior management by providing workforce analytics, compensation expertise and regulatory oversight to support strategic decision-making and compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
1) HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and KPIs.
- Produce regular workforce reports covering headcount, turnover, absenteeism, diversity, hiring and retention metrics.
- Analyse workforce trends and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
- Support management reporting and Board-level HR presentations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data across systems.
- Conduct annual salary reviews and benchmarking exercises.
- Support bonus, incentive and variable remuneration processes.
- Monitor market trends and compensation competitiveness.
- Participate in compensation surveys and prepare benchmarking analyses.
- Review compensation structures and recommend improvements aligned with business needs.
- Support job evaluation and grading exercises.
3) Regulatory Remuneration Oversight:
- Support compliance with CRD, EBA Guidelines and local regulatory remuneration requirements.
- Monitor Material Risk Taker (MRT) population and remuneration governance requirements.
- Assist in deferred compensation tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate remuneration disclosures and governance documentation.
- Support remuneration committee reporting and related analyses.
4) HR Systems & Data Governance:
- Maintain HR reporting databases and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy requirements.
- Improve data quality controls and reporting processes.
- Participate in HR digitalization and systems enhancement initiatives.
5) Projects & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead HR analytics and compensation-related projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting automation and efficiency.
- Support HR transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in HR Analytics, Compensation & Benefits or HR Governance.
- Experience within Banking, Financial Services or a regulated environment preferred.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of remuneration frameworks and HR metrics.
- Knowledge of CRD/EBA remuneration principles is highly desirable.
