Keyrock in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Head of Engineering for the Options group. You will lead an engineering team of ~7, driving the evolution of a Rust-native systematic options trading platform, while coordinating with traders, quants and product stakeholders to improve quoting, execution and risk controls.

We value strong leadership, pragmatic problem solving, and the ability to balance latency, reliability, and delivery speed.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience in systematic options trading or market-making.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams in fast-paced trading environments.
• Strong knowledge of Rust, C++, and low-latency system design.
• Experience with automated quoting, execution, risk controls and pricing workflows.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, databases, and production-grade validation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Options Engineering team and drive continuous improvement of trading infrastructure.
• Own the Rust-native systematic options trading platform and evolve it.
• Provide technical direction across system design, performance, reliability, and risk controls.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infra stakeholders to enable delivery.
