Moniepoint, a fintech scale-up, is expanding its POS supply chain software team in a remote, distributed European setup. You will own the technical strategy for inventory and logistics, lead an engineering org of ~25 engineers, align with business goals, and drive platform-wide improvements for reliability and data integrity across millions of devices. The role demands strong Java expertise and proven leadership in fintech environments.

Qualificações

• Extensive hands-on Java development experience.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with non-technical leaders.
• Deep experience in system design for large-scale backend/distributed systems.
• Expertise in backend engineering for data-intensive applications.
• Experience with supply chain, inventory, logistics software at scale.
• Product-minded approach to solving operational problems with engineering solutions.
• Fintech or regulated-industry background with device management in payments.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools.
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers, including managers, QA, SRE and Data Eng.
• Drive platformisation to ensure operational data is visible, trustworthy and consistent across terminals.
• Bridge operational practice and software systems with disciplined, scalable solutions.
• Define standards, processes, and quality metrics across squads for reliability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering outcomes.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to support growth to 30+.
