Moniepoint Inc. in Portugal seeks a Head of Engineering, Payment Gateway to lead the technical direction of Monnify, the gateway layer for merchants and banks, and to scale multi-currency payments internationally.

You will manage engineering managers across several teams, shape architecture for reliability, security and developer experience, and align technical investments with business goals while hiring and mentoring senior engineers.

Qualificações

• Over 10 years of software engineering experience with leadership roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Java development and shipping production systems.
• Experience managing managers and leading engineering organizations.
• Background in payments/fintech and understanding payment flows.
• Strong focus on API-first products and developer experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for the Monnify platform.
• Lead multiple engineering teams through managers and set quality standards.
• Own developer experience including APIs, docs and SDKs.
• Drive multi-currency and international scalability of the platform.
• Ensure reliability, security and compliance within a regulated environment.
• Collaborate with product, commercial and operations to align tech investments.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers.
