Job summary

Zendesk is hiring a Lead Product Designer for the AI Agents team. You will shape intuitive AI automation experiences across messaging, voice, and email, turning complex capabilities into clear products. You will partner with managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to deliver scalable experiences.

You will work with teams across Germany, Portugal, Denmark, Poland and distributed teams in AMER and APAC, fostering rapid prototyping and customer-centric design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience for consumer or B2B SaaS
• Experience designing generative AI, automation, or AI-assisted workflows
• Ability to operate in a technical environment and visualize impact of decisions
• Strong design process, collaboration, and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders
• Experience creating reusable patterns, frameworks, or design-system contributions
• Experience using AI to improve design workflows with focus on quality and accessibility

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for AI Agents experiences from discovery to launch
• Use research, usage data, support signals and market insights to validate concepts
• Collaborate with Product, Eng, Research, Content Design, and Data teams
• Establish reusable design patterns and standards for consistent end-to-end experience
• Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate discovery, ideation, and prototyping while validating outputs
