Job summary

Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A. in Braga is seeking a capable professional to lead hardware-focused technical projects within a globally connected automotive environment.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and project management teams, manage targets with customers, and report progress to stakeholders, while supporting validation activities and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in managing technical projects for automotive industry or similar.
• Good technical skills and motivation to solve technical challenges.
• Flexible and adaptable to new environments.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to take responsibility and to make decisions.
• Target, process and quality orientation.
• Fluent in English; German desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with software, system, project management and hardware teams.
• Maintain contact with multiple customers worldwide.
• Agree project targets with customer and report status to customer and management.
• Coordinate with Management, Project Management and SE-Team; cooperate with international cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, controlling.

Your contribution to something big:

• Working together with software, system, project management and Hardware teams;


• Keeping contact to multiple Customers Worldwide;


• Agreement of project targets with customer and regular reporting of project status to customer and management;


• Keeping contact to Management, Project Management and SE-Team, cooperation with international, cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, quality, technical purchasing, controlling, etc;


• Responsible for project planning, cost tracking, task management for hardware domain;


• Responsible for planning, tracking and releasing hardware changes;


• Support Electrical, EMC and Environmental validation;


• Apply project management tools like quality management, change management, risk management to ensure project success.

What distinguishes you:

• BSc/MSc in electrical, mechanical engineering, or comparable;
