Boschgroup is seeking a project manager for hardware cross-functional teams in Portugal. The role involves coordinating software, system, project management and hardware teams, maintaining customer contact, and reporting status to customers and management.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and proven project management experience in automotive or related sectors, with strong communication and a willingness to take responsibility. English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in electrical, mechanical engineering, or comparable.
• Proven experience in managing technical projects for automotive industry or similar.
• Fluent in English; German desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan, cost-track, and manage hardware-domain projects.
• Release hardware changes and coordinate across teams.
• Support validation activities (Electrical, EMC, Environmental).
• Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams globally.

Your contribution to something big:

Working together with software, system, project management and Hardware teams; Keeping contact to multiple Customers Worldwide; Agreement of project targets with customer and regular reporting of project status to customer and management; Keeping contact to Management, Project Management and SE-Team, cooperation with international, cross-functional teams including sales, manufacturing, quality, technical purchasing, controlling, etc; Responsible for project planning, cost tracking, task management for hardware domain; Responsible for planning, tracking and releasing hardware changes; Support Electrical, EMC and Environmental validation; Apply project management tools like quality management, change management, risk management to ensure project success.

What distinguishes you:

BSc/MSc in electrical, mechanical engineering, or comparable; Proven experience in managing technical projects for automotive industry or similar; Good technical skills and motivation to solve technical challenges; Flexibility and ability to adapt to new environments; Good communication and presentation skills; Willingness to take responsibility and to make decisions; Target, process and quality orientation; Fluent in English / German desirable.
