Job summary

Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A. in Portugal seeks a motivated student to support internal controls and data analytics within Vehicle Motion. You will learn VM controls, analyze deviations, and help document measures using Power BI, SQL, and Python.

This hands-on role offers exposure to global processes and a hybrid work arrangement. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor or Master in business, finance, or data analytics, with strong English and an openness to learning German.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Bachelor or Master studies in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support the correct and complete execution of VM (Vehicle Motion) controls in accordance with directives and standard work instructions.
• Support colleagues in analyzing deviations and defining adequate measures.
• Contribute to documentation of controls, deviations, and measures in the designated IT application.
• Support follow-up of measures and evaluation of their implementation and effectiveness.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digitization initiatives within the IC environment, e.g., automation of controls with a BOT.
• Contribute to analysis and visualization of IC data using tools like Power BI, SQL queries, Python scripts.
• Assist the VM IC Manager in governance topics, including monitoring activities, risk identification, and root-cause analysis.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Learn and support the correct and complete execution of VM (Vehicle Motion) - relevant controls in accordance with central directives and standard work instructions.


• Support the other colleagues at the department in analyzing deviations and defining adequate measures.


• Contribute to the documentation of controls, identified deviations, and measures in the designated IT application.


• Support the follow-up of measures and the evaluation of their implementation and effectiveness.


• Participate in continuous improvement and digitization initiatives within the IC (Internal Control System) environment. E.g. support the automatation of the controls by developping a BOT.


• Contribute to the analysis and visualization of IC (Internal Control System) data using digital tools (e.g. Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, Python scripts).


• Support the VM IC (Vehicle Motion Internal Control System) Manager in governance topics, such as
  
  
  
  1. Monitoring activities and reporting
  
  
  2. Identification of risks not covered by centrally defined controls
  
  
  3. Assistance in root cause analysis and definition of corrective/preventive measures in case of deviations
  
  
  4. Contribution to the maintenance of IC (Internal Control System) knowledge platforms (e.g., Docupedia)
  
  


• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Ongoing Bachelor or Master studies in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.


• Interest in risk management, internal controls, and governance topic.


• First experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL); knowledge of Python is an advantage.


• Proficiency in MS Office applications.


• Analytical and structured working style with attention to detail.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• Reliability, proactive attitude, and openness to learning.


• Good English skills in speaking and writing; German knowledge is a plus.

Additional note: Attendance at a higher education institution is required.
