A recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join their team in either Porto or Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Golang development, with a strong understanding of core concepts and expertise in designing RESTful APIs and microservices. This role offers a hybrid working model and includes various benefits, such as health insurance and relocation support to Portugal. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, while French is a plus.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in Golang development, including experience building scalable and concurrent applications
• Strong understanding of Go core concepts (routines, channels, interfaces, memory management)
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with a DevOps‑oriented mindset
• Experience with Kafka and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools, with a focus on deploying and managing microservices architectures
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience working with distributed systems and event‑driven architectures
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (minimum C1 level)
• Fluency in French is a great plus
• Availability for a hybrid work model, 2-3 times a week in the Porto or Lisbon offices (requires availability to relocate to Portugal)
