simplesurance GmbH in Lisbon and Berlin is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build a Go-based microservices platform with a focus on secure API design and high availability. You will contribute to a scalable backend powering multiple applications, participate in design reviews, and help shape API boundaries.
The role requires strong Go experience, familiarity with distributed systems, and fluent Business English.
Qualificações
- Proven experience working in a microservices environment.
- Deep production experience with Go.
- Experience with API design and service boundaries.
- Experience with testing (unit/integration) and secure coding practices.
- Fluent Business English and ability to explain trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Bonus: OAuth2/OIDC or IDP integration.
Responsabilidades
- Write high-performance, concurrent Go code powering product growth.
- Contribute to defining API contracts and gRPC boundaries for services.
- Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure idiomatic, testable and secure code.
- Refactor and evolve data models and service boundaries.
- Implement resilience patterns to maintain uptime across environments.
