KCS IT is seeking an Amazing Backend Developer (Golang) in Lisbon. You will contribute to designing and implementing scalable backend services, with focus on clean architecture and event-driven patterns. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and delivering robust, secure software.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience with Golang (Go).
• Comfortable designing and implementing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL).
• Knowledge of non-relational databases such as Redis/Valkey and DynamoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and/or AWS SQS.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda and S3.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of DDD or Clean Architecture.
• Nice to have knowledge of Actor Models, Sagas, and Process Managers.
• Experience participating in code reviews and collaborating in teams.
• Good knowledge of software security best practices, logging, metrics and monitoring.
• Good level of English and fluent in Portuguese.
• Based in Portugal and open to a hybrid position in Lisbon (1x per week).
