FedEx is seeking a Data Scientist to apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to transform global trade within Global Trade Services. You will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and translate business problems into analytical solutions in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, scalable analytics, and contributing to a data-centric culture across the organization.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or equivalent in data science, statistics, mathematics, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Experience applying analytics, ML, or AI techniques in a business environment.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data environments.
• Programming skills and experience with modern data science libraries and frameworks.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistics, experimentation, and ML methodologies.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive data-driven decision making by analyzing large datasets and identifying opportunities.
• Develop actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions across Global Trade Services.
• Create predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve productivity, service performance, and trade compliance.
• Design, build, and deploy ML and AI models addressing business challenges.
• Partner with customs experts, operations, product owners and tech partners to translate problems into analytical solutions.
